Hetalia: Axis Powers
Mathias Kohler, one of the main schmoozers of the school, has his eyes and heart set on Norwegian outcast Lukas Bondevik. Every advance he's tried to make, however, has led into an injury or a decent curse out by the boy. Something of the sorts. Needless to say, his efforts were easily being deflected by this kid. Mathias has tried every day to get a way to get the Norwegian boy to like him, obviously. His friends, Alfred F. Jones and Gilbert Beilschmidt, are in on it, and they try to get a way to set Lukas up in a trap that he can't escape. And this is when they hear about the play that the school is hosting for the year. Romeo and Juliet. The two both weasel Mathias in it, as well as Lukas. Now everyone knows that in Romeo and Juliet, there's the major kissing scene. To Lukas, it's another stupid scene to go over and be embarrassed about. But to Mathias, well, let's just say that he would really look forward to it. As the two grow a bit closer, whether it be fighting or practicing, without knowing, they fall in love. We all know Mathias would admit it. But would Lukas? That is the question. Find out in "Romeo and Juliet? I Think Not". This is a Human AU, so the people stated in here are NOT nations. Enjoy~!

Lorenzo Romanoff • struggling with finding his reason to keep going and stop drinking. The day he meets his brothers lawyer and her little boy that changes. He finds his reason to resist temptation. ••• "I don't want you to leave me." His fingers stop brushing my hair when my confession leaves my lips. "I don't want to leave you, but I have to. I'm sorry, I'm so fucking sorry." I grip his hospital gown and let out my silent cries as my body shakes. His arms tightens around me trying to comfort me, he knows nothing can. He's dying, and nothing is going to stop that. ••• "I do that a lot, you can't fool me." He says in a softer tone. I clear my throat and look away, the way he's looking at me's making me feel like he can read me as clear as a book, "Do what?" He gets closer to me making my eyes flicker to him, "You don't have to pretend Layla." For some reason it feels though as if I should whisper, "Who said I was pretending?" "Your smile," he murmurs, his eyes drop to my lips making a frown settle on his face. "It's so beautiful when you smile," his finger runs along my bottom lip, "but this one? Darling, this one is fake."
