"“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, Nothing is going to get better. It's not.”― Dr. Seuss, The Lorax I'm sure everyone grew up knowing who Dr.Seuss is. After all, he is one of the most worldly known authors. In fact, many of us end up knowing who he is before we can even grasp the concept of his words. Dr.Seuss talks of changing things for the better. Teaching young children what it takes to revolutionize the world without them even knowing about it. Though it highly doubt that he intended it to create such an uproar between young female high school students. Us women are taking back Esol high for ourselves. We have had it up to here with the dictatorship of the sexist hierarchy of wealthy egotistical assholes who find it just to treat us as unequals. No longer shall Over-sexed assholes and their blue eyed Barbie arm candy rule over us. As a senior, this will be our last year. Our last chance. Our last call to fame. This year is the year that we take down the "oh so popular" bad boys of Edward S. O. Lughaidh High school. No longer shall we sit by as our sister are used and tossed aside like sex toys. No, this year we take action! No more Mrs. Nice girl. This is the year that we fight." Looking back on that moment I wonder what had gotten her so riled up. It was never like her to be so bold. Sure, she had always been more outgoing than I was but never…that….whatever that was. But at that very second from the look in my best friend's eye I knew that our average everyday lives as the average high school sea urchin dwelling at the middle of the food chain was long gone. Something was going to change. Our old high school lives weren't going to cut it this year. This was the year that my idiot bestie and I were going to single handedly take down Damien Ross, the school's sexiest man-whore that just had to the bad boy image tagged onto him.

"You're mine. And I don't think you wanna go against that." Her eyes dangerously darkened. He gulped, and nodded a yes. --- Everybody has a story. And sometimes, these stories go unnoticed and untold. Even if it's that hard-core and determined badass girl from the school or the one who stays hidden in the shadows with books piled up right in front of him. In a normal high school filled with players, jocks, Heartbreakers and badass personalities, a boy with blue eyes, gel soaked brown hair and adorable face gets claimed by the most feared girl in leather jackets. Lucas Clark was not your average teenage boy. Mean it, he was not. All around you could see boys of his age probably flirting, playing games, hanging out with friends and throwing parties like their life depended on them. But he was a nerd. He was a straight A student. And she was the bad girl of the school, Claire Cooper. When one meet turns out to be Claire claiming him hers, he is left devastated and knowing that not to mess with "The Claire Cooper", Lucas has no option but to give in. And when the complications arise, they are shattered but they find themselves in a better place than when he felt like he was practically being attacked by the bad girl of the school. #55 in teenfic #1 in badass #1 in goodboy #1 in badgirlgoodboy #2 in nerd #1 in good #15 in heartbreak #16 in teen
