Deku is a slave for king endeavour (sorry if I spelt it wrong) he isn't allowed in a lot of the castle especially when king Almighty and Queen Inko visit. They rule in one of the neighbouring kingdoms. Unfortunately Todoroki has never seen Deku (YET). But one day that changes when Todoroki's personal servant dies (form natural causes)....

So I'm probably not going to get the answer I want from the Manga and this whole thing is a creation of my own on the 'lost years' of Touya Todoroki. This is him living on the streets before he becomes Dabi/BlueFlame, UP UNTIL THE LAST FEW CHAPTERS OF THE MANGA. And his life he creates for himself before he faces off with is father. -Slight spoilers but I kinda just breeze past them so unless you KNOW then you know- I personally think he's a redeemable character (AKA I'm simping so hard that I am justifying mass murder) and I really feel like we aren't going to dive into that whole messy business. He suffered through abuse, he suffered through pain, for years he was lonely and depressed. Those memories just keep flooding back to him, he did his best to keep himself mentally stable. This basically my most sensitive story yet and there is also be trigger warnings. PS: this does not contain any ships with anyone, this is just about Todoroki overcoming depression. Aslo there is no smut cause like I've mentioned several times I don't do smut.
