Asaro Xithang gave up long ago trying to overthrow Kilian Vraida and his Sen Ji overlords, superhumans with the ability to manipulate shadow magic. They ruled his homeland of Rammere with suffocating brutality, and his family and comrades had all been slaughtered by Sen Ji. With nothing left to live for, he undertook suicide missions attempting to murder Sen Ji aristocrats despite his weak, mortal frame. He had only one wish, to die and let his wretched soul finally know peace taking as many depraved nobles with him as possible.
One night, hounded by a Sen Ji's summoned shadowmen and believing his self-destructive journey at an end, a mysterious woman intercepted his path and effortlessly banished the shadowmen with light magic, saving his life. Asaro quickly realized that the woman, who had no memory of her past and only went by the moniker Tehler, was more than powerful enough to stop Kilian's cruel subjugation of his homeland. Knowing she existed was enough that he dared allow himself to believe that the Sen Ji could actually be overthrown, and once again take up the struggle against them. But she refused to help him, invoking a nonviolence creed.
Would Asaro be able to convince her to reconsider her convictions and help him end Kilian's rule? How did she wield light magic, an ability that had never even been rumored before? What was she, if not human or Sen Ji? Would they be able to work together and trust each other if Asaro helped her regain her memory, or would his own ugly past come to light and drive them apart?
Despite the foreboding uncertainty, Asaro hoped they could help each other. It was the first hope he'd felt in over fifteen years.

In the final battle against Muzan Kibutsuji, many of the Pillars lost their lives along the way, and few of those who survived up to that point made it to the end. With Tanjiro Kamado's sacrifice, Muzan Kibutsuji was forced to keep fighting until the sunlight pierced through the mountains, signaling dawn. It didn't take long for the Demon King to be pulverized by the sunlight. Many celebrated as they witnessed his body disintegrating, but others were already aware of the tragic fate of young Kamado-who gave his life to ensure Muzan's defeat and even in death, did not release his crimson blade. However, not everything is rosy, even in death. As Tanjiro disintegrated under the sun, Muzan injected all his remaining blood into Tanjiro's lifeless body. With his blood, Muzan implanted the phrase 'eliminate all demon hunters' into Tanjiro's mind. Tanjiro awakened without consciousness, driven solely by his Demon instincts, as his mind was no longer present. There were no more deaths, but the surviving Pillars had to sacrifice one of their arms and even their eyes to decapitate Tanjiro in his Demon form, thus bringing an end to his life. When Tanjiro opened his eyes, he found himself in a dark place, unable to see or smell anything. Remembering the battle against Muzan, he realized he was dead and sighed with relief, finally able to rest. It was at that moment... A deity appeared and presented him with the two most crucial choices of his entire existence. All Rights Reserved by: 𝐊𝐨𝐲𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐮 𝐆𝐨𝐭𝐨̄𝐠𝐞

For one, her emotions were out of control. She never got a peace of mind being left alone with herself. She was either blaming herself for actions, or she was traumatized at night by memories on this... place. The same place she felt more comfortable coming back to. Why did she come back? Why was the Isle her safe place? The same place she was punished on consistently for breathing incorrectly if her mother viewed it as so. But even still... it was her pain and her happiness. She felt more trapped and boxed on in Auradon than on the Isle. Was this a bad thing? Did she cause herself to feel that way? Was it Ben? Ben. The thought of him made her put the list against her chest. She felt terrible for leaving him.. but they were in a tough place. He wasn't listening; he wasn't hearing. She was impatient; her expectations.. could they be considered high? Should she focus more on working on her relationship than herself? No, in order to fix the relationship she'd have to fix herself. But she's a part of the relationship... Barely being here fifteen minutes and already struggling within her emotions, Mal began growing an headaches. The headache told her it was time to rest someplace quiet, to ride out the storm within her brain, for in time pain does ebb.
