The bridge between realities
She wakes up to blinding lights and silence. No name. No memories. Only the sterile scent of metal and the echo of her own heartbeat. Every day begins the same - strapped to a bed, surrounded by faces she doesn't recognize. They call it research. She calls it torture. Each session peels away another layer of her mind, until she no longer knows if the pain she feels is real or manufactured. The walls hum with electricity. The machines whisper in frequencies only she can hear. And the man who stands over her - the one with steady eyes and shaking hands - is both her tormentor and the only soul who looks at her like she's still human. As her fragmented memories begin to resurface, she realizes that the greatest experiment isn't on her body - it's on her mind. It's not a story about escape. It's a story about what's left of you after you've already lost everything.
