We finally made contact with beings not of this world. The only problem is that it was nothing like the TV shows, books or video games. Noah remembers when it al happened, he just didn't know how or why. No one did apart from the upper class but the only time anyone saw them was for the chosing. Noah knew it wasnt long before he was shipped out of the "farm" and he was right.

As humans, you have to fight irrelevance. There are seven billion humans on Earth, approximately. Every time someone dies, someone is born to replace them, to mask the pain of loss.
