I can feel passion writhing/through my intangibles - Daughter of Heaven and Earth

like a beast/coaxing the blessings of the wind. - Some Other Nature

Welcome, Readers! My name is Dionne Charlet. I'm a published poet and freelance writer. Words are things of clay. They are yours to mold and sculpt into works of beauty-spirituality-horror-whimsy-art.

I seem continually bound to toggle through some lingering mysteries of my own femininity. It's as if the ethereal elicits a voice inherently compressed within some sudden and new written ring of perspective.

I must write. Then I must edit. Sculpt. Destroy. Revise. Emerge.

Through imagery and the Verse, I hope to arouse metaphor with a spunk-infused tease of color and fantasy through the wilds of the ages. Born in New Orleans, I call mine those who own thrive in the whirlwind before a fusion of poetic forms honed and glimmering with abandon.

Like the driven artists who've chosen the City that Care Forgot, I hope y'all find yourselves lost to care in the throes of words. If I could see you in person, I'd hug you! Thank you for taking the time to stroll through my words.😻
