Being raised in a military family had its perks, but of course it also has it's difficulties. One difficulty is being practically forced to follow the same career path as your parents. 

{Y/n} had been one of the best pilots and brightest minds to join the ranks of the United States military. After being shot down during battle and discharged from her service she was contacted by none other then Tony Stark. With her expertise in flying and technology she joined the avengers, where she met Captain America.
