I hissed, trying to get the pencil sharpening out of my eye. It stung, so I just ended up hissing more.
"Do, uh, do you need some help?" Ethan said, his hand reaching towards my eye and retracting. I shook my head, trying to get it out of my eye with the edge of my nail. Is it possible to cut your eyeball and bleed to death because of the lack of bandages?
"Here, I've got it," Ethan said, seemingly making up his mind. "Can you lean against something?"
I leaned back against the kitchen counter, gripping it with both my hands while he fished my eye for the sharpening.
"No making out in the kitchen! Or anywhere, for that matter!" Lucifer screams and pulls Ethan back by the back of his shirt. "Stop hitting on my sister, or so help me, friend or not, I will rip all your limbs off your torso and feed them to you."
