Ever since she was born, Aurora Diaz has had a gift: the ability to see spirits. She's gone through life with this as a normal thing; her cousin, Arthur Diaz, at her side with the same ability. Together, and with their spirit friend, Lydia, they help lost spirits and keep an eye on the Spirit Veil--the barrier separating the world of the living and the realm of the dead. 

The three come across an ancient scroll linking to Lydia's life before death. The scroll comes with a warning: there is a time when the Veil can be broken every ten thousand years. This date is within the next two weeks!

When another version of the scroll is found on a dig, it is soon stolen by a spiritualist eager to prove the existence of life after death. Aurora, Arthur, and Lydia set out to stop them before one of the greatest secrets of existence is unleashed upon the world of the living.

Not to forget, all of them have their lives hanging in the balance because an evil spirit has hitchhiked with them and is now roaming free, casting its menacing shadow, and biding its time to unleash hell.
