Angel was what she was named.
She thought she was exactly the opposite. She was treated like a demon for so long she started to believe she was one. Abused by her adopted parents she thought she was not worth anything.
One day the abuse was so bad she freaked out and her abilities were revealed. She was like a storm uncontrollable.
Frightened to death about what the world would think of her she has been on the run.
On the streets, she meets a friend (Essence) who is also a mutant. They become close friends and are both on the run together.
With Essence, she discovers she has another ability. Too scared to use her first ability she learns her new second ability on her journey with Essence.
Everything seems to be going alright but her third ability manifests and if she wasn't on the run before she definitely is now.
With Essence gone in the mix, she is on her own. With Sentinel Services in every corner, she doesn't know if she can make it.
She bumps into this new group of people and they offer help. If she goes with them will she cause them more harm than good? Be the demon she believes she is? Or will being exceptionally different make her their angel?

Based in a world in which everyone is an angel and must earn an ability not inherited through family. It seems random but it's not in the slightest. Each matches ones personality. Finding this trait also gets you your wings, which is what every young cherub strives to earn. It's a crazy world where anything can happen. Encluding a rather odd pair. Pepper is a 15 year old wingless. The last one in his whole grade. Everyone picks on him and hates him for it, but he especially hates himself for it. He lives with his dad that does nothing but abuse him, and he has the biggest identity crisis you'll ever see. Then he meets the gyrokenetic boy Robin.
