Liam thought that the only significant event that would ever occur in his life would be his parents getting a divorce. But that's where he was wrong. Suddenly, Liam's average Australian teenage boy life is thrown up into the air when he and his mum decide to move to California. Liam finds himself with a buzzing social life that he never had before and of course, a beautiful girl living next door. Will the craziness of teenage life get in the way or will one shake be all it takes? *AUTHOR'S NOTE* I just wanted to say that I'm sorry to anyone who was waiting for me to take this story further. I feel like I hit a bit of a brick wall. I love this story, it was the first time I started writing for me and not for school. I was getting some major writer's block when it came to this story which felt weird because the creative juices had been flowing up to this point. I love this story and the characters and I finally realised that any writing I tried to force out would be really bad quality and that it could ruin the story. I do realise that this is very frustrating; I would be annoyed if someone did it to me. But I really think that in this case, less is more. I may come back to this story one day, but I make no promises. I feel like my time with Liam and Saskia has come to an end. They can enjoy their summer in peace! Basically, this is just a feel-good summer read, and I hope I've brought you some enjoyment at least. xx RomanceWriter2000 :)

A military romantic suspense novel Major Cecelia Livingston isn't a soldier-she's a doctor. A damn good one. Trained in trauma, decorated with credentials, and hardened by deployment after deployment. But none of that matters the second she steps off the chopper and onto the dirt of an unofficial base that technically doesn't exist. Because the man waiting for her isn't interested in her rank. Or her reputation. Or her orders from command. Lieutenant Colonel Rhys Callan runs one of the most elite black ops units in the field-covert, brutal, and untouchable. He doesn't lose men. And six months ago, he buried his medic. He's not about to risk another one just because someone higher up decided to assign him a field doctor with no combat scars and too much heart. She's not welcome. He doesn't trust her. And he's made that painfully clear. But the mission clock is ticking. Tensions are rising. And when everything explodes-as it always does-there'll be no room for weakness, and no room for mistakes. She's determined to earn her place. He's determined to make sure she never gets close enough to try. In a war where survival depends on control, discipline, and silence, what happens when the one person you don't want in your world becomes the only one you can't lose? 𝐀 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐅𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐓 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 When a Navy SEAL mission in Iraq goes tragically wrong, Chief Sam Lawson is left shattered-his body broken, his future uncertain. Sent home with injuries no one expected him to survive, Sam is forced to face a new kind of war: recovery. At home, his wife Allie becomes the anchor to a life neither of them recognize. She's holding up a household, raising their daughter, and caring for the man she almost lost-physically, emotionally, and in every way that matters. Healing isn't neat. It's messy, brutal, and painfully slow. There are nightmares, hospital beds, slammed doors, and more than a few moments when love has to be louder than the fear. But there are also sidewalk chalk drawings, late-night kitchen dancing, and second chances whispered in the dark. This isn't a love story that ends with a goodbye kiss. It's one that begins when everything else falls apart-and they choose each other anyway. _______________________________________ This story is inspired by the real-life strength of Navy SEAL Joseph Hildebrand, whose journey shaped Sam's character in every way that counts. Allie and the children are based on people I've personally witnessed walking through fire and choosing love again. I do not own the rights to any characters from Warfare. "If you love me, you won't leave me." Jessie has believed those words from her boyfriend, Josh, since senior year of high school. She loves him and doesn't want to leave him. Not even when he shouts at her and hits her. Jessie's best friend, Kolleen, can't stand seeing her in that situation. With a bit of convincing - and the worst beating she'd ever received - Jessie agrees to move into an apartment with Kolleen. But not long after, Jessie is scared the worst of her nightmares will soon become a reality. Josh goes missing, and suddenly Jessie would swear she's being followed. One night changes everything, and one person soon changes Jessie's outlook. A responding officer from that fateful night begins to seek her out, at first claiming it's part of his job. As she spends time with her new friend outside of his job, she starts realizing that her feelings are evolving. After being abused for over a year, Jessie is terrified she's falling in love. What's even more terrifying is that he might be, too. She isn't ready for love. Not yet. She makes up her mind that if he is falling, and if he does love her, he'll wait for her to be ready, and if she loves him, she won't let herself hurt him. Can the words that used to cage her in really be the key to her freedom? --- Featured On: @NA: Take a seat and let it be | Mature Content and 18+ reading list @NA: You deserve the world | Mental Health reading list Ambys Top Picks New Adult 2023
