As the weeks wore on, Bree and River grew closer, and her own bad feelings about the people closest to her grew, as well. River showed her a world without her family and friends, one where it was alright for Bree to do whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted to. She was finally free from the weight of being a bionic hero, but there was something . . . off about the whole situation. Just when Bree thought things couldn't get any better, they got worse.
