A Myth Among Myths

This is a different sub-series of the Chronicles of Myth, based in a different time period and around a different Mythical than Flamefeather. This is the White Warrior sub-series, but it is recommended that you read Into the Shadows first. That way you have an initial understanding of how the world of Aetheria works.

Humans think they understand their world. They believe the Myths and Legends of the world, to simply be tales for the enjoyment of children. They discredit the stories of higher powers, of magic, and of aliens. They trust that science is the truth, and that all can be explained by it. They think that a world without magic, without myth, is better than one with whimsical dreams and beautiful stories. They think that true heroes are those same which have never walked the hard road of pain. The road of magic and betrayal.

But what happens when the arrival of an ancient enemy awakens something more powerful, more ancient? Something older than the dinosaurs. Something as old as the planet itself? The very creature whose creation sparked a surging wildfire of life, across the universe. An ancient warrior rises again, as the enemy nears.

How will the world deal with it, when their legends return to life? When everything they think they know, fails them? After all, how do you fight magic with technology? Guess the Mythicals have to teach you to fight. As per usual.
