In the year 2237, things aren't the same. Independent thinking is gone. Creativity was lost. The lifeless eyes of the Spiritless are the byproduct of this downfall. The Spiritless are all the same. Their monotone voices, black eyes, and crowd psychology. They were born with bright eyes and imaginations, but reality hardens everyone by the time they reach their first birthday. Though, beneath this all, lies the few that were never broken. The few that have vivid eyes and sharp minds: the Seers.
Lila, Jaya, Taz, Zeke, and Mateo were never shattered by the propaganda and the influence of their lackluster parents. They all still hold this power that they conceal so fiercely. They are a threat to those around them due to the way their minds think, they know that the government has had secret operations underway for years to rid the world of Seers. What will happen when using black contacts to conceal their eyes, and following normal behaviors of the Spiritless suddenly isn't good enough?

Not Your Ordinary Alien Story
Aliens have been here before... one was left behind. Eighteen-year- old Zoe must find him and she doesn't have much time. Along with the alien, a beacon was left on Earth which when activated, opens a portal through which the aliens will return. The extraterrestrials visit Earth to usurp Qi, Earth's vital energy. The ancient Egyptians referred to it as "ka," and the ancient Greeks as "pneuma." In Africa, it's known as "ashe" and in Hawaii as "mana." The Unordinary
Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. With practice can grow to be very useful. Second, super speed. Able to get across the map within minutes. Third, telekinesis developed and he's able to move objects with his mind. Fourth, time manipulation occurs. This stage of powers involves more then trait. Fifth, final power is self regeneration. Able to grow back skin cells and basically be invincible. But not quite. After discovering his mind reading ability Ayden reveals to best friends Cyrus Jones and Amber Monroe what happen to him the night of his birthday. After he convinces them that it's the truth, here starts the long journey of finding his birth parents. During there adventure they come across other people with similar abilities but not quite like Aydens. They only posses one trait. Will he find out who he is?Complete
