Back in the normal world, Jude is desperate to return to Faerie. So when the High King Cardan turns up unexpectedly on her doorstep, she sees a chance to use him to find a way home.  But Jude and Cardan have been playing each other for a long time, and neither can hold up their charades for ever. The night will turn out very differently to what both had planned.

While staying at the castle, she began to fall for the cold yet charming king Apollo. What will happen when she finds out that one night between the two, could end up changing their life's forever?
