Yugi Muto and the gang have returned from their adventures in South America. Upon their arrival, the gang is introduced to Seto Kaiba's girlfriend, Karina Cecelia Pegasus. Karina befriends Yugi and become quite close to the Pharaoh only to discover her link to the ancient past and her key role in helping Atem save the world. Will Karina's feelings for Atem threaten her relationship with Kaiba or will the darkness rise and take over?
