A young woman celebrating her twenty-fifth birthday gets quite a surprise when a beautiful man breaks into her apartment. He tells her that they are both witches and that they are being hunted and that they must get away as soon as possible. As if that wasn't already hard to believe, a past lover shows up at the same time and tells her that he is a vampire. Trying to make sense of it all, she escapes with them but her journey has only just begun.
