It wasn't normal to see a girl in the military. As far as I knew the only girl, excuse me woman, was Peggy Carter. It had always been my dream to join the army and I did it. Finally. I ended up in the same unit as Steve Rogers and James Buchanan Barnes. Being a soldier wasn't exactly what I expected tho...

I decided to write this story because I've always wanted to join the army myself, but I can't and I love Captain America. The story is based on Captain America: the first Avenger, but I changed it up a bit.
