Dr. Jennifer Robotnik has always been a brilliant mastermind. As of recently, Dr. Eggman was defeated and nowhere to be seen, thus allowing her to take the remnants of what remained of the Eggman Empire to bring it into her Robotnik Industries. Behind the scenes, she managed to retrieve the Phantom Ruby, where she had learnt the true capabilities of such a Relic, only to discover there were actual other realities that existed outside of her own. With this, she intends on bringing forth a way to combine them all together as she wants to shape it into her own image. However, two particular Hedgehogs intend on preventing her plans as it leads to her Cross-Universe Plan Z to come into fruition, with some costs of course.... 'Common Enemy' [Sonic 3 Inspired Fic]
Having come from Mobius, a once thought-to-be fictional world in which all of the Classic "Sonic The Hedgehog" characters live, a new super-powered, female Hedgehog arrives on Earth, looking to run away as she was being tracked down by echidna warriors. She soon finds herself hiding amongst the forests of what she later learns is "Green Hills" Montana before being spotted by another Hedgehog. As well as his family consisting of a two-tailed fox, echidna and two humans. Tom and Maddie. They get to know each other a bit, explaining each other's stories before being grouped together by an organization titled "G.U.N." and introduced to a new common enemy amongst the newly formed underdogs group, Shadow The Hedgehog. The group all go through highs and lows to keep this new common enemy at bay before a saddening past is revealed. The new female hedgehog makes it her new mission to keep this new enemy, who is swayed by heartbreak and pain and being used for something far greater beyond just simple revenge, at bay with hardened banter, endless ass-kicking and terrible, downright awful flirting and talk-me-downs before being discovered to hold a great power, one similar to the black and red hedgehog she was tasked to keep busy alongside others. Then, a new, odd, love-hate relationship starts to form between the two hedgehogs. It sparks and flares just as a huge revelation comes to light which requires the strengths of all 'alien' hedgehogs, humans, foxes and echidnas alike. All of the furry, non-furred and spiked friends then team up and take down those who deceived and manipulated. Aurora and her team find themselves in a peculiar situation. For months, the vigilantes had been struggling to fight against an uncharacteristically coordinated group of criminals. The mysterious organization targeted numerous villages at the same time, forcing the heroes to stop only a few of the many attacks. Unwilling to let the fight draw on for any longer, Aurora and her friends decide to take a different approach: to hunt down the gang's elusive leader and expose his identity, destroying his gang from the inside. To do so, the vigilantes must attend an event hosted by their foes themselves: a masquerade. Yet tracking down a crime boss is easier said than done.
