"Is it really all going to be okay?"

"It really is..."

After every cry for help goes ignored Fiona Gray the "Golden Girl" of East Lake attempts to kill herself. The girl they once viewed as unbreakable was in fact broken. A life full of lies is what Fiona lived, filled with a fake smile, fake friends, and no family. The people that she had once called her friends had turned her back on her when she needed them the most. So she left town, leaving behind everything she once knew to start over. To hopefully find the people she would grow to call her family and to take her mind back, but will it all be as easy as she hopes or will she never be able to find her self again because of her past?

"It was all a lie! You never really loved me or any of us, you just used me like everyone else!" I scoff

"Fiona!" I hear him call after me as I walk away.

Completed. ☼ " Her denial, that was like a dam holding back a flood of feeling, of sweet relief for desperate soil, holding back a flood it stood no chance against, as yet another crack formed with a strong wave that already knew it had won. On the other side Marley stood, watching her dam's inevitable, impending destruction - fearing, knowing, that quenching her aching thirst would be synonymous with drowning, would be synonymous with coming up for air, would be synonymous with surrendering to a force of nature that was beautiful in all its calm, but terrifying in all its chaos. He absentmindedly tucked a loose flyaway behind her ear. Right then. Another crack in her last line of defence. Another rolling back of a wave, gaining strength, beating against the tired concrete. Another overflow rolling above the wall, droplets racing to sink into her every vulnerable place. Another enigma - still being afraid, while watching the water, and feeling the ache " ☼ Praise for 'Camp Where The Hell Are We?' "the fact that this book isn't just a book. it's a life lesson it teaches us the importance of friendship on how to be grateful that most of us live comfortable lives this book is such a masterpiece and deserves to be more recognized" - @voidtonkin "No book has changed or influenced me as much as this. Marley has inspired me to be more kind, forgiving and mature. Aiden has taught me to look for all the small things. Gabby showed me that real friendship is standing up for the other no matter what. Every book I read is a part of who I am, and this is one of the biggest parts. Thank you." - @ah-sh-ih-k-ah "I could feel every emotion, like I was standing right there, just on the outside looking in. Couldn't sleep until I finished this." - @justwonderfulbaby "You have such a beautiful and unique way with your words, I love this story so much and it and you deserve so much recognition. Also Available On Inkitt "Can I ask you something?" She asked softly. "Sure," he smiled. She looked up at him. "Why did you want to be my friend? I mean, there were so many people to choose from. Why me? I'm not even worth it." "You looked so lonely. So sad, so hidden. You looked like you were so used to being silent. But I knew there was more to it than what meets the eye. I wanted to decode the mystery." He looked deep into her eyes. "So what do you want?" She held his gaze, even though she hated eye contact. He smiled softly and sang, "All I wanna be, all I ever wanna be, is somebody to you." ________________________________________________ Darkness and shadows were all she ever saw. She lived in silence, her whole world a monochromatic display that only she could see. Her red rimmed glasses only made clearer her strife and the elastic band on her left wrist reminded her of her long lived sorrow. She hid from the world, going unnoticed by everyone, slowly crumbling to dust on her own. That was all until one faithful day when someone did the unthinkable and decided that she was worth noticing. She was the girl in the grey hoodie. And he was someone who cared. Take your mind on a journey of two unique souls, sprinkle in a little friendship, a teaspoon of tears, a spoon of laughter and fun and maybe a pinch of violence and love with a hint of secrets. And while you wait for that delicious cake to bake, a good sing along won't hurt. Raven Barlow doesn't trust anyone-not since the people she needed most tore her apart. Ryan Bramwell is trying to rewrite a past filled with guilt, one fake smile at a time. Tiana Grace walks on eggshells in a world built on expectations, her voice quieter each day. They didn't mean to become each other's lifelines.
