Stephanie Summers was back to school after a long vacation, but this time without her best friend Becca. She had a rough idea how the next few years would be; 'Lonely'. She expects her life to be uneventful and depressing .... until she meets Matt.

Matt Collins, the school's football captain was famous for his pranks and boyish ways. Since the day Stephanie was mistakenly pranked, he made it a point to annoy her every day. But the more time he spent with her, the less annoying he became and the more he got to know the real her. His mind was fixed upon his life being broken and pathetic.

The girl who thought she was too awkward to make new friends, was introduced to Matt's friend circle. He made her see life in a broader way.
