Mankind has awoken the old gods and were plunged into a world with half-human hybrids as their neighbors. Shark-Kin (Half human, half shark) rule the oceans and Woodland-Kin (Centaurs, Satyrs, Nymphs, the sort) rule the Land. Every year, the remaining islands (Earth was flooded leaving only Islands) must sacrifice two of their children to the Earth Goddess and the Ocean God.
