This story takes place after United As One and takes the perspective of John Smith. This story tells about how he deals with loosing the love of his life, Sarah Hart.
It also follows the perspective of Marina, or Number Seven . As she deals with the grief of loosing Number Eight.

Now that the war is over, the garde attempts at a normal life but when complications arise they're sent on a whole new mission with twists and turns.
