The war between Phalynx (FAY-LINKS) and wolves has been raging in the valley of Osaka for half a decade now. Wolves and wolf pups alike are being taken during the night to be turned into, or raised to be, slaves for the Phalynx.
Ph1 is a captive Phalynx, found and trained by Captain Leo from a young age. It is an efficient killer when it comes to hunting down it's kind. But now it has a bigger part to play in the war than just being a weapon. With no captured Phalynx giving away the location of the Nest and dying with the secret close to their chest, General Reiker - Leo and Kappa's father - plans to release the beast into the wild and have Cpt Leo run with it; so that it will lead him to the Nest.
But, on this journey, Leo gets to do more with the Phalynx than just run with and follow it. He learns that Ph1 is not an it - but a her.
But is she really just an ordinary, heartless female Phalynx?
What lies beneath the labels of "beast", "monster" and "killer"? Is Ph1 really a mindless, instinctual follower of the Phalynx Queen, or is there more to her than what meets the eye?
