"We were meant to meet, it's written in the stars." On April 10, 1912, sixteen year old Emma Stuart and seventeen year old Harry O'Donoghue were complete strangers, merely two of the over 900 people who boarded the ill-fated Titanic at Southampton. Emma, traveling second class, was returning home to Boston after a month-long tour of England with her mother and younger sister. Harry, a wealthy heir from Galway, was looking forward to reuniting with his parents in New York and visiting Niagara Falls, Toronto, and various other places in the American Northeast. By the early hours of April 15, they aren't ready to say goodbye, having spent many hours together after an accidental encouter, despite their difference in classes. Unsure of their future together and eventually separated, they fight for their chances of survival and love.
