Tyler lands in Los Angeles as a stop on a journey to better himself and escape a painful past. In a split second, he decides to have nowhere to go, and no one to rely on. In choosing to abandon fate and healing, his life begins to quickly spiral down a dark path. Money, sex, drugs, and violence become a daily routine to stay alive in the modern jungle. The people he knows can be friends one moment, and enemies the next. Nothing is certain for him, and he thrives on it. He believes himself less of a man, and more of a feral animal roaming the streets. Until he meets someone who brings out the tenderness hiding in his blackened heart.
