At 19, when most girl's her age were off at university parties and enjoying youth, Marinette had experienced more heartbreak and had more responsibilities than she had planned. Once a hopeless dreamer, she had to learn that they were just that-dreams-and grew up.

A walk in the rain causes her to cross paths with Adrien, who is surprised to see his friend change so much in the three years since he left. As it turns out, those three years hadn't been kind to either of them.

While the rain pours outside and thunder and lightning crash, two broken hearts find themselves mending each other, even when they may have caused each other's pain.
