Edge of Destiny

Most children grow up hearing stories about princesses and princes that battle off evil and find true love within each other. Each story ends the same way: never sad, nor ever disappointing.

Skyler grew up listening to tales as well, but the one's her mother told her were never happy in the end, for they never ended. she was told of an old land hidden away where two kingdom's ruled, and each child born in this land was born with a single gift. since she could remember, her mother told her of this land and how a war broke out and one of the royal family's princess was lost to them. Skyler grew up memorizing the story and the characters lives, each shadowed with sorrow for the war had cost a great deal. But event's would come to play in the Story that Skyler had never thought could be possible. It was a sad tale indeed and Skyler never understood why her mother insisted she know it.

That was until the ancient story became her reality.
