Jessie Wright's life use to be normal, or as normal as being an assassin can get. But with her 'father', Byron, now gone, Jessie has to take over as Don. The world that she tried so hard to be free from, has drawn her back in. Along with now trying to navigate being Don, Jessie has to figure out her relationship with Leonardo Russo. 
Just as things start to get better something has to happen. Not many people want a woman Don, especially someone like Jessie Wright. With another threat on her life Jessie must decide if she's ready for this new life or if she'd rather give it all up.

This is a sequel to "The Hidden Shadow"! Would recommend reading that first before reading this. Not A Stand Alone Story.
