The Dark Forest

Yami is sitting there, fighting for a decision. Will she fight the demon that jsut sprouted out of nowhere and possessed her beloved Malaki, or will she spread her wings and soar away? She couldn't think quick enough, and that costed her. Big time. Before she could see what hit her, she was thrown up with an abnormally large hand and given a massive right hook to the face. She couldn't see anything. She couldn't move. She didn't want to hurt him. She waited, only to be struck again. Her vision was a blur when she opened her remaining eye, the other being ripped from her socket. She winced in pain and horror, not knowing such a feeling, even in all of her days in fighting. Her heart ached, and began to cry. She felt her consciousness drift away, and so did bits and pieces of her memories, letting herself drift away, blacking out. Her memories were completely gone now, and couldn't remember a thing. She tried to spread her wings and fly away from whatever was in front of her, but it was no use, since the beast grabbed her hair, threw her up and said, "Goodbye, Yami. I'll see you once more." And with that, he stuck an enormously powerful kick to her abdomen, sending her flying through the crisp, summer air, Yami finally giving in to the blackout, only with the memory of herself. Yami.
All she could see was black.
