Her father, a Roman senator, wants her to marry and Venus is angry that the humans have stopped worshiping her in favor of this human. She tells her son, Cupid, to help make her life miserable but the plan goes haywire. Now Cupid is in love with the girl his mother hates, Psyche's father demands she marry or he cuts her off, and none of the guys she dates seem all that interested.
