Dani Sanchez is 15 and a sophomore in high school and she's never had a proper home. She's been to different foster homes then she can count and it has always been her against the world. The gift (being able to see and speak to spirts/ghost) that she has doesn't make it easy for her to live her life. Everywhere she goes they want something from her and she used to help everyone one out when she was young but that got her kicked out, being called different names and being beaten... you'll find out later in the story about that.
Since all that happened to her she now knows to help herself instead even if it's selfish. she's tired of going to different schools and foster homes and never settling down.
Her promise to herself is everything but what happens when a mysterious boy ghost finds out about her gift and wants her help? Will she break her promise to help him out? Or will she help herself and keep quiet? Well read to find out ;)

The Thomas's are a very well-off family with four boys. Their house is usually the main hangout for the boys and their friends. Kate hasn't ever lived with siblings before, let alone this many boys, so it's a big change for her. Daniel is your typical high school football player; he's got the looks, the muscles, talent, and even the overbearing dad who wants him to go pro. Daniel, however, really couldn't care less about a career in football, he loves the game, but it's his dad's dream for him to go pro, not his own. At least not anymore. He spends most of his free time away from his house and hanging out at either the Thomas or the Copperfield house. He can't wait to go off to college with his friends and get away from his dad and the stupid little town he grew up in. How will things change for them over the next year? This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order. Full warning, this book is much shorter than I intend on making the spin-offs. I was planning on writing book two as the first in the series but found myself needing more of a prequel to all three other books, and so I chose to write something from their high school years. Bonus points for giving Daniel a love interest that was more than just a name.Complete
