Black Magic

14 parts Ongoing Mature

The story follows Maya, a young woman in a bustling modern city who inherits a strange, ancient family heirloom after the sudden death of her estranged grandmother. This heirloom is a grimoire containing dangerous spells linked to black magic, believed to have been cursed. Unbeknownst to Maya, she comes from a long line of witches who once wielded dark magic for power and influence. But with the discovery of the book comes the awakening of an ancient evil force that her family tried to suppress for centuries. As Maya learns more about her lineage and the temptations of using dark magic, she is hunted by a secret organisation dedicated to eradicating black magic practitioners. Meanwhile, she struggles to decide if she should wield her newfound power to fight or give in to its dangerous allure. Every spell she uses brings her closer to losing her humanity and becoming the very thing she fears.
