When Winter Comes

Left by an unknown boy at the Dater Orphanage during one of the storms to date, Winter Morningstar had lived her life in both fear of the men her adoptive mothers were honest in telling her were after her and longing for answers they couldn't provide.

After her Uncles death and her Mothers health issues Winter is tasked with meeting the new head of the family, a distant cousin that she knows nothing about. The meeting as predicted doesn't go well, a old falling out between families strains the meeting and Winter is forced to face the fact that upon her adoptive mother Rachel's death the Dater family will no longer give any financial help.

While looking for help Winter stumbles upon a mystery that had long gone cold that only she could have the answers too. Only she can decide what to do with the information she has while still fighting for her home and family.
