Ryan and Shane are just guys on YouTube. They aren't detectives, nor investigators, nor are they even police officers. They review cases and form opinions,  but at the end of the day they leave the case just as it was: unsolved.

But, if they were assigned a case and their lives depended on it... could they actually be detectives and succeed?

That question is answered when they wake up in 1947 two days after the body of Elizabeth Short, the Black Dahlia,  was found in an open lot.

After getting entangled in some trouble with a few sketchy characters, the two fall into apprenticeships of a World War II nurse. They learn to defend themselves in the dangerous city and train to become real life gumshoes. 

Possibilities are endless, Hollywood is corrupt, and always watch your back.

He can feel the aura's of other's emotions and the slightest changes in the environment. He can communicate with spirits and scare them away. Demons, however are not so easily fooled. He can feel the chance of human emotion in the atmosphere and has physical reactions to it, such as pain or simple feelings throughout his body. He spends his ghost hunting days trying to protect his human co-worker and friend, Ryan Bergara, from the real spirits around him by trying to hide it from him. However, when Ryan goes missing, it's up to Shane to find him.
