"Tie down the crates, we can't afford to lose our  food and water sources. Not yet at least. Not this way." Our Captain called to his crew members. We rush to rope and start tying down the boxes and barrels filled with foods and fresh waters. The waters were unsettled, the sky is cloudy, and raining the bad feeling coming across me about the weather made me feel more and more like my life is being threatened by mother nature.

My eyes adjust to the light in the room. "Where.. Where am I?" My voice choked up feeling dry and sore. Trying to lift up my arms to rub my eyes so I can wipe the blur away, noticing my arms can't move from my laying position in a bed I am not familiar with. "Anyone.. here? Where am I?" I coughed after my questions. Someone buzzed the intercom and spoke in a strong Russian accent. "Your awake. Very good. We had to test you by implanting a device in your wrist. You will be sore once the anesthetic wears off. The device will monitor your heart, health, weight, height, hunger, brain functions, and all other important organ functions. It also helps warn your surroundings if something bigger or stronger creatures nearby. This is where the test begins. You will be frozen and sent to the future with many others to help you survive as a team. You will be the thing that brings humanity back or become the next generation."All Rights Reserved
