The story continues, for British-Ukranian soldier, Emilia Romanoff Brookston, when aliens show up to take over the world. However, after being taken captive and frozen, she comes back after a staggering three years. And to say things have changed are an understatement.

Emilia discovers a lot of things: M'gann and Connor are no longer a couple, Kaldur is... evil, Wally and Artemis have retired, Jason Todd is dead and there's a new Robin, Natasha Romanoff is a fugitive from extra terrestrials, and, most shockingly, Dick Grayson has gone through seven girls. Oh, and her crazy lunatic of a father is now begging her to save him from a Mafia gang that he owes several thousand dollars to. 

As much as she tries to resist it, Emilia is beginning to go back to her old ways of not trusting anyone and lying her way out of trouble...

14 year old Jade Knight is the Jester, adopted daughter of The Joker and Harley Quinn. She's been with them since she was a young child but spent a few of those years training with assassins. Robin is guessed to attend Gotham Academy so Jade is sent there undercover as a new student but finding Robin is harder than it looks. She makes a friend called Dick Grayson and after a while he starts to make the things the Joker and Harley put into her head go away and she sort of changes and realises she doesn't actually want to be the Jester anymore. She finally tells Joker and Harley she doesn't want to be the bad guy anymore but they don't accept it and try to kill her. She's then saved by the league but when she wakes up Joker is gone and left a broadcast announcing that Jade was the Joker, the one thing she feared most of becoming and it breaks her making her loose what's left of her sanity. Nearly two years later she finds out that Dick didn't die and that he was under a new name, Nightwing. But will his return be enough to reverse her being the Joker or will she still stay insane?
