Henry Anderson is a young man who has two goals in life - to finally win his crush, Danielle's, heart, and finally become recognized. However, after an encounter with the school bully, Andrew, Henry gets chased into an abandoned building. There, he finds an old dummy that is in pretty good condition. He decides to take the dummy home in hopes to maybe even be a ventriloquist. However, things start going downhill when everything around him begins to fall apart. Everyone else's lives start having horrible and near-death encounters and someone seems to believe that all of these are because of a certain ventriloquist doll... Dexter the Dummy.
