Thorns of a rose can pierce various objects and organisms. They're lethal in some ways yet beautiful in most-from the tip of the rose itself and to the end of the thorny stem. The rose draws them in and then the thorns tear them a part. Roses can describe many people, much like one who goes by Tessa Rose. Fitting isn't it? From her long, straight brown strands to her natural wide, hazel eyes, she's beautiful. Anyone can see that.
Especially one of the scariest men in New York, Brandon Sanchez. Tessa might've not known it then, but her past will stay in the way of love. Not only that, but her father's girlfriend, Brandon's mother, might be the biggest threat of all. If she allows her heart to love him, she'll lose her family and friends. What happens when she choose between her blood or the love of her life? The choice could tear her and everyone else a part, much like a rose. Limb by limb, blood after blood.
