Red eyes stared deeply into her own, as if looking directly into her soul. His clawed fingertip lazily traced the mark on her chest, not unlike the one on his own. "If we do this, there's no going back" he whispered. She knew the consequences if they consummated the bond very well by now, and she was too far gone to let him go. She wrapped her arms behind his neck as their lips met in a fierce kiss, fire burning through her veins.

Mira was dripping wet from head to toe and had soaked his clothes, but he didn't care.
