Laela Smith is terrified when she is left without her mother. Her father is trying to be as supportive as possible but juggling his kids and his job isn't easy. Laela wishes for her mother's advice on certain matters. While cleaning her room, Laela discovers a blue shoebox decorated with colourful tape and stickers. Inside there are 10 letters, from her mother, with written advice. Now all Laela must do when she wants some guidance, is open a letter.
