Fifteen years after nuclear war rained down on the earth destroying almost everything in its path, the next generation doesn't known sunlight, and the world is dying because of their ancestors foolishness. The next generation of Agrarians put their trust in an Underground resistance where the City's residence put their trust in the Governor Menda. A world divided. And few know the truth. The power to restore a slowly dying Earth and realize, and fix, the mistakes of their ancestors is not in the hands of the resistance or Governor Menda, but falls to a band of misfit teens.

Years ago there was a blackout. One day all the lights went out. The cars stopped running. Electricity no longer existed. Nothing that ran on electricity works anymore. People panicked and tried to survive for as long as they could. Some made it out of cities the others stayed. Our government fell and militias took control. The Monroe militia took over. Then one day he found electricity again. He used it for bad and soon conquered the whole world. Years later our world now runs on electricity again. The Monroe militia is still in power and they force teens to go into an academy to train as merciless killers. This is where I go. One question I always have in mind is, In a world where hope is the only thing we have, Can love exist in the middle of all this war?
