Fifteen years after nuclear war rained down on the earth destroying almost everything in its path, the next generation doesn't known sunlight, and the world is dying because of their ancestors foolishness. The next generation of Agrarians put their trust in an Underground resistance where the City's residence put their trust in the Governor Menda.

A world divided.

And few know the truth.

The power to restore a slowly dying Earth and realize, and fix, the mistakes of their ancestors is not in the hands of the resistance or Governor Menda, but falls to a band of misfit teens.
