Outsiders

I have always been good at melting into the shadows and not being seen - mostly because people don't want to see the homeless. But being invisible also comes in handy when trying to survive on the streets as a girl. So I sense danger and I stay out of it, stay covered, watch from a safe distance. Not this time though, as I witness a girl being threatened at the station. Will I step in when several armed persons encircle her like prey? Where will that get me?
