"Crap!" I yelped as I ducked behind a tree, a ball of darkness just missing my head by a hair. The tree fell over and smoke emitted from the burnt spot. Beside me to my left I heard heavy breathing. I was scared to look over, just incase it was an enemy or the thing that had shot the ball of darkness towards me, but to my surprise I saw a boy about my age. His body was covered in scars and blood. "Are you ok?" I asked stupidly. " Of course your not ok let me rephrase that, what happened?" He didn't respond. To my disbelief his wounds healed and he stood up right before my eyes. " You're human right?" He grumbled looking bored. " Yep, so I'm guessing that your not then?" This made him roll his eyes. "Was it that obvious." He said sarcastically. I stood up, wanting to smack the sarcastic b***h.
