The summer after graduation had started out like any other - waiting impatiently for the ice cream truck to make it's way to the front of Theo's lawn, planning adventures that eventually led them to the ocean, avoiding responsibilities like proper adults - and for a second, it seemed like the world was going to be alright.
But nothing is ever permanent and guarantees are as solid as the wind and sometimes the people you think will always be there, aren't.
