I almost ended up in prison. One stupid decision-trying to sell drugs just to make ends meet-and I was caught. I remember my heart pounding, my hands shaking, thinking this is it. But then, out of nowhere, this stranger stepped in. Said a few things to the right people, pulled some strings... and just like that, I was free. Sort of. Turns out, he's a detective.
