Percy Jackson is a normal human being with normal human feelings. He doesn't understand why all of a sudden his best friend seems so amazing all of a sudden. He doesn't understand why that all he can seem to think about is her. He doesn't understand why he can't imagine a life without her in it. Maybe it was just puberty or something. Maybe it was just physical attraction. Maybe it was just nothing at all. Maybe it was just his imagination. But it still didn't change the fact that he felt those feelings. He didn't know what to do with them. So he resorted to the method he had been using everyday in his life, locking them inside his heart. That way, it wouldn't hurt as much.

Annabeth Chase has had a hard time harboring her emotions all of her life. It was all about surviving. Her best friend made her feel like she didn't have to keep it all locked away anymore. One particular emotion has lead her to believe that she's just had it hidden for far too long, and that it didn't exist anymore. He was the one who showed her that she could open the bottle holding those feelings. Can she tell him? Can she finally tell him how she truly feels? Can she tell him that he is the one person she's addicted to having in her life?

The first around five chapters are really cringe-y because I didn't know how to write properly (I still don't), but I can guarantee you that it improves as the continues. And I'm losing myself to a part of me that I never knew existed. The morning dew on the leaves around me froze to crystallized droplets as I walked by. Just as I was admiring the beauty of it all, a shout came from behind me and I turned. A hunter was pointing my way and more people came. Twenty more hunters, and roughly forty demigods. I turned away from them and ran while taking out my sword. Riptide. It wasn't what it used to be. Before it had a blue green colored trident etched into a glowing bronze metal and a golden hilt. Now? The bronze glowed silver because of a thin layer of deadly ice. The trident became an icy blue, just as my eyes had changed and the hilt was now black and silver. Why? I'm changing. The world destroyed me. So I'm changing. To someone I'm not. I can't stop it. I can keep running before I freeze over entirely. Then I'll be unstoppable. = = = so im writing a second draft and i realized i screwed up the whole plot in this story because it wasnt meant to be cliche but it turned out to be so this is gonna be the first version and the second version im writing at an incredibly slow rate so yeah this version is not the best to say it nicely [lowercase and terrible grammar intended because I'm lazy]
