Alexandra Maria York is also known as Alex, Mar Mar, and Yorke to nine of her best friends. All Alex wanted was to be able to live her dream of being in a band. To be able to rock out with her best friends. And now, well she lives it 24/7! Alex can sing and is often complemented on it, but her real talent is screaming. Metal screaming to be exact! If you haven't already guessed Alex's "friends" are more like brothers, and her band. Well its one of the biggest metal bands in the world, Slipknot. Has Alex bitten off more than she can chew once she catches the hots for one of her band mates? Well you'll just have to read to find out! I do not own slipknot or any of there amazing songs. The only person I own in this is Alex. And non of these things will be historically accurate except for their birthdays ages and heights. All of this is a work of fiction. 🤘 And this takes place in 1999 in the self titled era and so on and so forth.

Alex grabbed my wrist quickly and stopped me in my tracks. I glanced up at him, shocked. I couldn't read him right this second. I panicked. "I'm sorry." I pulled my hand back to my chest. Did I just ruin this moment? I'm such an idiot! "No, don't apologise, Lucy." He grabbed hold of my hand and squeezed it gently. I was slightly confused. I thought I'd just repulsed him for a split second. I wasn't ready for The words coming out of his mouth next. "I want you to," he groaned. "God, Lucy, I really do. But I want to be able to reciprocate, and I want you to want me to do so. I want you to feel ready. I don't want to pressure you into anything," he said with a hint of emotion behind his voice. -------------------------------------------------------------- Lucy has always been the girl in the background.
