She couldn't understand why those men did it. Her naive mind cannot recall anything that made them turn against her. Her own trusted people, her friends. 

They betrayed her, stripped her down with her honor and priviledge. She gave them what they wanted from the start, she fed them. The monster had grow stronger under 
her care. She laughed at herself bitterly, cursing under her breath as a snow fell on her bruised face. Lying on her back, alone and dying. Stab wounds sting on every
part of her body. 

Their deed.

 Her blood boiled through her veins, red seeped through the snow around her. 

Ungrateful bastards

They are going to pay for this, she swore. Under the night sky she swore an oath of revenge, for her father, for her mother, for all havoc that came upon her kingdom. 

Arath is going to rise again. Her vision blurried and the grip on her runestones slackened. Magic prevails. And she slipped into darkness.
